Tara Pretorius is a Texas County native. She was born and raised on a farm outside of Hooker, Oklahoma, where she attended Hooker Public Schools.

After high school, she attended college at Front Range Community College in Ft. Collins, Colorado and Oklahoma State University.

After having children, Tara moved back to raise them in the same farmhouse she was raised in. She enjoys attending her children’s events and activities in the same hometown community where she grew up.

Tara is the granddaughter, daughter, and wife of farmers.

She helps to run Hooker Meal Delivery Service, a volunteer sustained service that provides a daily meal to those in need in the community of Hooker.

She deeply values her community and enjoys spending her free time at home and with her family and animals, gardening, growing flowers and herbs, vegetables, fruit and usually way too many pumpkins.

Tara is the niece of the Owner/Broker of Herbel Real Estate LLC, April Herbel. She is grateful to have the opportunity to work for and with her. Tara is proud to be a Realtor for a locally owned business.

Family and helping others is what motivates, drives and sustains her. She would love the opportunity to serve you and yours.
