I am a native Oklahoma Panhandle 'Okie', born and raised in Hooker, OK. My family has been farming & ranching in the OK panhandle since 1908. Thus, I have a strong passion for farming sustainability, animals and agriculture. 

I graduated from Oklahoma State Univ (OSU) with a BS in Physiology, graduated Sheridan Jr College with an Animal Science AS degree and attended OSU veterinary school for one year prior to completing my BS degree. I previously worked in the veterinary diagnostic/pharma business for 25+ years in sales, marketing & business development prior to entering the real estate industry.

I began my career in real estate in 2015 with Re/MAX in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2016 I moved back home to be with family. In 2017 I received my OK Real Estate Brokers license and started Herbel Real Estate based out of Hooker, OK. We are currently located @ 1005 N Main, Guymon, OK in a black and white office building with a homey enviornment, which I purchased in 2022. I am also still licensed 'inactive' in the state of CO. One never knows when that might come in handy. 

My goal as an owner of a small real estate brokerage in a rural community is to bring newer technologies and processes to better assist Agents, Sellers and Buyers in the Oklahoma Panhandle area.

My business mantra has always been to strive to 'raise the bar in real estate'.

In 2021, I implemented the first real estate MLS (Multiple Listing Service) system into TX County, OK within my Herbel Real Estate brokerage. Since then, other brokerages have joined, which has greatly enhanced how Sellers and Buyers "Sell & Buy" in our area. 

• An MLS system helps buyers find properies by providing them a more comprehensive database of properties for sale among a certain area without having to access separate brokerage websites individually. It also helps Sellers by maximizing exposure to potential Buyers through a network of real estate agents, increasing their chances of selling their property more quickly. 

My brokerage is also currently a member of NWOAR (Northwest OK Association of REALTORS^®) based out of Enid, OK. As a REALTOR^® member, we have access to outside training,  technologies, MLS systems and are held to a high standard of excellence in providing better real estate services to our clients. 

As a Broker, I have overseen and trained several agents on processes, ethics, marketing and more, in order that they may better serve their clients and improve their own business practices. We also currently have one licensed agent who focuses primarily on farm, land and agrricultural transactions. I myself handle farm, land, agriculture, commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Herbel Real Estate offers a full service marketing portfolio to include; sales brochures, videos, reels, drone and professional photography, home staging, social media, online marketing ads, open houses, professional signage and more. We also assist clients in liquidating personal property and home contents.
